Hume Lake Christian Camps

Growing up in a church in Southern California my youth group had the opportunity to attend Hume Lake Christian Camps up in the Sequoia National Park. From attending all seven years of camp in junior high and high school, I fell in love with what the camp did for students. I saw the impact the camp had on young junior high and high schoolers and how the messages would change their view of truth in life. During the last two years, I had the amazing opportunity to be a summer counselor for girl cabins. My first year I served in the Junior High ministry and my second year I served in the High School ministry. Both years I was able to help lead and teach young women about the truth in Jesus Christ. I got to come alongside them and serve them through listening to their life stories and guiding them in a way that honors God. This experience taught me a lot about patience, kindness, and servitude. It also helped me to learn more about myself as a leader and who I want to continue to become. 

Sports

All my life I have been involved in sports. For eleven years, I played club soccer and I am currently playing competitive golf at Biola University. Through playing sports and being a college athlete, I have learned about how to be a good teammate, and a supportive and fair leader. I have also gained skills of how to deal with new challenges and approach them in a way that will always benefit the team before myself. Overall, sports have taught me many life lessons that will benefit me in the workplace and in the relationships I make. 

Travel

One of my favorite hobbies is traveling and planning new trips. I love the idea of exploring new places and learning about new cultures. Some of my favorite places to visit are those that contain great historical sites or places that are known for their special characteristics such as food or destinations. 

DISNEY

One of my loves in life is Disney. My family has been going here for years and it is a place that we find we can leave the stresses of life behind and be present with one another. It has been a place of joy in many areas of my life. I have found that I share many new adventures and chapters of my life with this special place.
